FOX SPIRIT BFS WINNERS!

BRITISH FANTASY SOCIETY BEST SMALL PRESS 2015

Fox-Spirit-British Fantasy Awards

Super pleased that Fox Spirit totally nailed it and came away from the British Fantasy Society Awards with the ‘Best Small Press’ trophy. Huge hugs all round for a publishers that is only three years old and had also shortlisted for ‘Best Short Story’ with Gaie Sebold’s tale in Wicked Women AND ‘Best Fantasy Novel’ for the excellent Breed by K.T. Davies.

I’m very happy to have created the ‘Aunty Fox’ logo, as a small contribution to the big team effort!

Super pleased to find I’ve been nominated. A very nice thing to wake up to on Tuesday morning. WOW. Really smart to be nominated amongst such good company including partners in crime Lavie Tidhar and Adele Wearing at Fox Spirit. Nice left of field list this year.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Sunday, 25 October 2015, at FantasyCon 2015 in Nottingham. You can see the full list of nominations right here over at the British Fantasy Society. Big thanks everybody!

Well, that’s very kind of Aunty Fox to say so but ten books? TEN BOOKS? That’s a lotta pixels. Exciting an’ scary… in equal measure. And when so many authors are going to be spending so much time scribbling away for these anthologies? I feel the least I can do is try and give them a snappy package for their work to be showcased in.
